Sketching for UX Design

This post is my first assignment for my UX/UI pre-work at IronHack.

After doing this exercise I understood the importance of sketching to communicate ideas. It helps you clarifying previously vague concepts. I realized that sometimes a simple drawing is more effective than a whole detailed description. Sketchnoting actually makes you engage, as you can rapidly put down an idea and enter in state of flow as you focus listening and analyzing.

I felt my brain fully engaged sketching ideas that at first were disconnected, but after another try, synthesizing and putting it all together, I finally succeed forming a visual map were (for me at least) all the ideas were clear.

Based on Ted Talk by Margaret Gould Stewart (Facebook’s director of product design): How Giant Websites Design For You.
